Abstract

The scientific article «The Role of the Islamic Factor in Central Asia» is a study of the influence of Islam on the contemporary sociocultural and political dynamics of the region. The paper explores various aspects of Islamic influence, including its essence in political structures, educational institutions, the shaping of societal standards, and foreign policy. The analysis of specific practical examples of Islam’s impact on the countries of Central Asia is provided, emphasizing its key role in shaping a unique combination of traditional and modern aspects of regional development. The research offers insights into the significance of Islam in shaping the modern identity of Central Asia and highlights prospects for its influence. The study also includes an analysis of administrative Islamic institutions, providing additional depth to the understanding of the role of Islam in the regional administrative context. Furthermore, a study has been conducted on the issue of radicalization of Islamic movements in Central Asia.
