The article is devoted to the analysis of Kazakhstan's presidency in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in 2023-2024. The key aspects, achievements and challenges faced by the country within this important international platform are considered. The introduction to the topic emphasizes the significance of the SCO as a mechanism of regional interaction aimed at addressing issues of security, economic cooperation and cultural exchange. The article reviews Kazakhstan's previous chairmanships in the organization and provides a comparative analysis. The main priorities of Kazakhstan's chairmanship are also highlighted, including strengthening regional security, developing economic cooperation, promoting humanitarian cooperation and environmental sustainability.
