Abstract

It is known that the traditional values of the Kazakh people have been forming worldviews about the historical cultural realities and traditions of the people for many centuries. It is well known that there are individuals who have made a significant contribution to the formation of traditional society, historical cultural consciousness and religious knowledge. In today’s era of globalization, under the influence of religious literalism and non-traditional religious movements and groups, organizations calling for the rejection of the values of traditional knowledge by young people stand out.
To prevent trends in this direction among young people, it is important to consider the popularization of the spiritual heritage of the famous religious figure, poet, and thinker Hazret Sultan Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in the Turkestan region. Among the main spiritual personalities of the Turkic world, the Hikmet, who have the title of Hazret Sultan and the spiritual title, promote the ideas of religious stability and creation. The poet’s works often talk about muslim culture and the teachings of conscience. The article examines the formation of Ahmet Yasawi as a spiritual personality, his life path and orientation, and the peculiarities of the penetration of Islam into the Kazakh steppe by examining a number of hagiographic data covering the religious, political, historical and cultural features of the environment in which the thinker lived. Based on the methodology in religious studies, a study was conducted using the approaches of hagiographic and textual analysis of the poet’s personal life, and the peculiarities of the spread of Islam were studied.
