Nowadays there is a tendency to view young people and their socio-political activity as a problem that needs to be solved. But often the question is: how and in what way it is necessary to solve if the youth is viewed as a potential threat or problem, and actually, is it worth considering the youth as some kind of force capable of disrupting the foundations of stability and socio-political activity of the state.
Relevance of the study is determined by the specifics and importance of the political culture of the younger generation as a key component of positive changes in society, development of a stable state at the national and international levels. This work also provides a definition of political culture, its role in the formation and development of the younger generation, as well as the place of youth in a society; also main principles of the formation of political culture are named; main problems in this direction are indicated too. This article has conclusion that development of the political literacy and culture in a society with the participation of young people is determined by the need to establish a dialogue between the state and society, via improvement of legal mechanisms in the field of youth policy, and emphasizing a role of the younger generation as future peacemakers.
