Abstract

Values ​​are considered as the main factor contributing to the development of society, having significance according to the needs of time in different periods of human history. Values ​​are needs that encompass the desires and aspirations of a society and its members at a particular time. The values ​​accepted in a society arise as a result of the experiences of the members of that society and over time they influence the formation of the behavior of individuals. Additionaly, values ​​serve as a control mechanism that ensures the continuation of society and determine the criteria that distinguish different groups in society. Values, by providing a source of appropriate thinking and behavior for society, determine the dimensions necessary for society and direct it to them.
Political values ​​can be counted as one of the integral components of social values. Political values ​​are the political beliefs and goals of an individual or society, which in their minds reflect the permanent positive value of certain meanings, principles and phenomena and are a guide in the world of politics.
In our article, the concept of values, theories and the classification of these theories, as well as the concept of political value, the category of the concept of political value, the relation between politics and values ​​are studied.
