Abstract

In the modern world, characterized by rapid socio-economic and political changes, the concept of a Just Society is becoming increasingly important. In this context, the political modernization of parliamentarism is becoming a key element for achieving sustainable development and ensuring social justice, requiring a comprehensive approach to reforms aimed at strengthening democratic institutions and increasing the effectiveness of parliamentary activities. The aim of the research is to create a theoretical and practical basis for the political modernization of parliamentarism, contributing to the formation of a just, sustainable and democratic society capable of effectively countering modern challenges and threats.
The political modernization of parliamentarism, based on the introduction of modern digital technologies, strengthening institutional independence and increasing transparency of the legislative process, contributes to the formation of a just society, ensuring effective protection of human rights, equal access to political processes and sustainable development. The results of the study confirm the fact that the introduction of digital platforms for public discussions and voting has significantly increased the accessibility and transparency of the legislative process. Citizens had the opportunity to actively participate in the discussion of draft laws and monitor the activities of their representatives. The reforms carried out, aimed at strengthening the independence of parliaments from the executive branch and private interests, have led to increased confidence in legislative institutions. Parliaments began to act more autonomously and in the interests of citizens, which strengthened the democratic foundations of society. The conducted research has demonstrated that the political modernization of parliamentarism in a just society is not only possible, but also necessary to strengthen democratic institutions and increase citizens’ confidence in legislative processes. The modernization of parliamentarism using digital technologies, institutional reforms and increased transparency creates favorable conditions for the formation of a just, democratic and sustainable society, strengthening democratic institutions, increasing citizens’ trust in parliaments and creating prerequisites for successful development in the face of modern challenges.
