Abstract

The article analyzes the transformation and philosophical aspects of power — a phenomenon that has retained its relevance throughout the history of human civilization. By revealing the essence of the concept of power, the author highlights its significance within the system of social institutions and civil-legal relations, as well as its role in the context of statehood and social structures.
The study employs modern scientific and theoretical approaches and methods for analyzing the phenomenon of power, identifying key conceptual problems in this field. The article provides a detailed examination of the institutional (formal) and substantive (value-based, symbolic) characteristics of power. It also systematically describes the types of power, its phenomenological forms, and levels of meaning, allowing for a comprehensive analysis of how power relations are perceived in contemporary conditions.
As a primary methodological approach, the analysis of the internal structure of power and its manifestations in political systems and social space is proposed.
An objective description of the power phenomenon makes it possible to identify the specific mechanisms of subordination, social hierarchy, and the formation of societal relations. Furthermore, the article emphasizes the importance of scientifically grounded public awareness regarding the nature and types of power as a factor contributing to a deeper understanding of its role in interpersonal interaction systems.
